Coronavirus (COVID-19) Measures We are Taking

Sales Offices Open by Appointment Only

At Primont Homes, our highest priority is the health and well-being of our valued customers, staff and partners. That is why we are taking special precautions as the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve.

Our strategy over the last few weeks has been to prepare for any impact COVID-19 may have on the communities we serve. To continuously monitor the situation and how it is changing, we have put a task force in place. This dedicated group is monitoring all updates from Health Canada, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centres for Disease Control (CDC). Their goal is to make sure Primont is being as proactive as possible in implementing any necessary preventative measures and procedures. Our plan is to keep you, our valued customers, staff, and partners, continuously informed about our decisions with regard to COVID-19.

The most significant change we are implementing is that, to minimize risk exposure, all our sales offices will be open BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. This includes meeting one-on-one, by phone, or by video conference. There will be no walk-in visits for the foreseeable future. As well, before your in-person meeting at our sales offices, our staff will be asking you some important health and safety questions.

As well as implementing appointment-only meetings at our sales offices, we are also putting in place certain protocols for the benefit of everyone. We are recommending that all our customers and staff follow these directions in order to reduce risk to everyone:

• Pay attention to the recommended hygiene practices: Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently, cough or sneeze into your sleeve, clean and disinfect shared and frequently touched objects and surfaces, and avoid contact with people who appear to be or have said they are ill.

• We are asking our employees to practice Social Distancing, and have designated all meetings and gatherings “handshake-free.” Expect our staff to warmly greet you without a handshake.

• We are regularly cleaning and disinfecting our sales offices and design studios, following Health Canada guidelines.

• If any of our employees are feeling unwell, they have been directed to stay home.

Also, our employees have been instructed that if they have recently returned from any international travel, they must self-isolate to comply with Public Health Agency of Canada guidelines.
