When you’re moving into a new home, make sure to plan out how the moving is going to happen. If you’re hiring movers, book them as soon as you know the date or rally up your friends and family and confirm they’re available and ready to help. There’s nothing worse than moving all your furniture with one other person. The more people you have, the easier the process will be and the sooner you can put your feet up.

Give Yourself Time

Allow yourself plenty of time before you move into your new home. You’ll need to pack up your current space, move everything to the new property and unpack. Time is a major factor in moving because unexpected issues could arise. Overestimate how long it will take you to pack and how long it will take you to unpack – remember that you have way more stuff than you think.
